About the CEO

Bobby Kalili is an American internet and real estate entrepreneur and the Founder and Managing Member of Las Vegas Apartments Corporation (LVA) – A Nevada based real estate holding and construction company focusing on developing and renovating upscale-modern apartment buildings in Downtown Las Vegas. With hundreds of apartments across Downtown, LVA is the largest apartment property owner in Downtown Las Vegas. LVA has been recognized by the mayor of Las Vegas and various other city officials for playing a significant role in redeveloping Downtown by providing modern-upscale housing for the cities growing population.

Bobby founded the company in 2012 after exiting the internet industry with the sale of 1-800-YELLOWPAGES as well as various other marks and software to AT&T in 2006. Bobby began his career in the internet and software industries in 1996 when he sold the software behind the search engine Metacrawler to Go2net, Inc (GNET) in exchange for equity and ultimately became a significant shareholder in the company. Go2net went public in 1997 and by 2000 was acquired by Infospace, Inc for $4.2 billion. Metacrawler at the time was the first search engine to aggregate the results of other search engines and display the results on 1 page. This technology was the first of its kind in what was the beginning of the internet in the mid 1990’s.

As a real estate entrepreneur and developer, Bobby was one of the first developers in Downtown Las Vegas to provide modern-upscale housing by renovating distressed apartment buildings in the Arts District and Fremont West during a time when investors were fearful of Downtown’s crime ridden past. Today, Bobby’s vision for Downtown is to provide affordable modern housing with the purpose of increasing people’s quality of life.

Las Vegas Apartments Corporation develops, manages and operates hundreds of single family homes and upscale Class A apartments in Downtown Las Vegas.
